Firemen Accountability Tags

These tags are 3.5" by 1.5", they are 1/8" thick and are attached with metal snaps that scissor open. Very easy to use even with your gloves on. Metal rings are attached to the accountability tags. They are made from a heavy durable plastic material. They come in 3 colors. Red with white lettering, yellow with black lettering and green with white lettering. The red and yellow tags are the colors most used by fire companies.

Tags come with lettering included on one side at no extra charge. Any lettering on the backside is an extra charge of $3.00 for each tag. Please call if you need the other side lettered or just add it to your comments section while checking out.

Accountability Tag with engraved text. Accountability Tags are issued to each firefighter. Then the firefighters are trained that they must “tag in” (give his tag to the Safety or Sector Officer) before entering the structure. Immediately upon exiting the structure the firefighter must collect his tag so the Officer knows he returned safely. Many Departments use a two tag system where they also “tag in” to the truck. This is useful to the Incident Commander when evaluating the available resources.
